Run the whole shop
from one tab.
Crowbar is time tracking, task management, and a light CRM built for small dev shops. The timer, the board, the client history, and the invoice-ready export all live in the same place, because they were always the same job.

The problem
Three subscriptions, three logins, and the hours still end up in a spreadsheet.
01 / Time
The tracker you already pay for
It does the hours well enough and nothing else. Crowbar keeps the Harvest-compatible export, so the invoicing you have already built around it does not have to change.
02 / Work
The task tool nobody updates
Boards go stale when they sit in a separate tab from the work. Here the task and the time booked against its project are one click apart.
03 / Clients
The CRM that is really a spreadsheet
Rates, renewal dates, and who said what live in a file someone forgot to update. Crowbar keeps contacts, deals, contracts, and rate history beside the client they belong to.
What it does
Built by a shop that needed it, on its own hours.
Crowbar runs Avietech day to day. Every feature below is in the product because something broke without it.
A timer that lives in the navbar
Start it, stop it, and the time entry writes itself. Manual and batch entry for the hours you forgot, plus a weekly calendar view for the ones you need to move.
Clients that match how you actually bill
Top-level clients with sub-clients underneath, so a parent company and its three brands stay separate until the invoice, where you can roll them back together.
Projects with budgets that warn you
Per-project budget hours and rate overrides, with a burn-down report that tells you where the month went before the client does.
Tasks next to the hours
Custom statuses, a drag-and-drop board, subtasks, tags, threaded comments, attachments, assignees, and due dates. All scoped to the project the time is booked against.
Export that fits your existing invoicing
Harvest-compatible CSV columns, with hourly rates cascading from project to client to parent client. Your accountant never has to know anything changed.
A light CRM, not a second job
Contacts, a deal pipeline, activities, contracts, rate history, and per-client metadata with expiry dates, so renewals stop ambushing you.
Works when the coffee shop wifi does not
Installable as a PWA with an offline queue for time entries. Log the hours on the train, they sync when you surface.
Built for people who use keyboards
Global keyboard shortcuts, breadcrumbs on every detail page, and pagination that does not re-fetch the world. Press ? anywhere for the shortcut list.
Where it is right now
Beta means beta.
This is a real product running real client work, not a landing page for something that does not exist yet. It is also not finished. Here is the honest split.
- Shipped
- Time tracking, timer, clients and sub-clients, projects, budgets, reports, Harvest-compatible CSV export, tasks, board view, subtasks, tags, comments, attachments, dashboard.
- In testing
- The CRM side: contacts, deal pipeline, activities, contracts, rate history, and upcoming expirations. Offline PWA time-entry queue.
- Next up
- A desktop agent for idle detection, email alerts and reminders, task co-assignment, and time logged directly against a task.
Private beta
Seats open in small batches.
Crowbar is being tested on live client work before it is opened up. Get on the list and you will hear when there is room, along with the occasional note on what shipped.
- Your data is yours, and the CSV export means you can always take it with you.
- Beta feedback actually moves the roadmap. There are not many of you yet.
- No credit card, no sales call, no drip sequence pretending to be a person.
